Spotting the mysterious bug
I was just checking to see what the latest information was about the transition of TNT Sports to HBO Max when I noticed this bug. discovery+'s website in the UK appears to be displaying a mysterious subscription option called "d+ Test Product" on its plan selection page, priced at £33.99 per month, but without any explanation of what the plan actually includes.
01 The Empty Plan Card
If you visit the plan selection page right now, you might notice something very strange sitting alongside the standard options.
If it is showing full price at £33.99 per month and has no description, no features, and no extra info, it really does not look like a genuine promotional offer meant for the public.
02 The Checkout Page
Curiosity got the better of me, so I clicked through to see if the checkout page would reveal any more details about what you are actually buying.
As you can see, the mystery continues right up to the payment screen. It still simply reads "d+ Test Product" without any further clarification.
03 What Is This Product?
Based on the layout and the complete lack of marketing copy, it looks more like one of three things:
- An internal test label shown by mistake.
- A plan card missing its content.
- A bundle page that failed to load the proper name and details.
Most likely, the £33.99 option is meant to be the combined Entertainment + TNT Sports package, but the name is displaying incorrectly and no plans information is showing.
